REC Summer Camp is a user pay recreation program that incorporates education and fun. We strive to provide these services in a fun, safe and wholesome environment that allows our young people to grow as individuals while interacting as a group.NO REFUNDS AFTER REGISTRATION

REC SUMMER CAMP FIELD TRIPSParents or guardians are not permitted to attend the trips. Children DO NOT need to be enrolled in the REC Summer Camp to register for field trips. Children may choose their activity group. Children enrolled in the field trip must arrive at MAP by 7:15 AM. Children going on the trip will board the bus and children not going will stay at MAP (LOP will be CLOSED on all field trip days). All children return to MAP by 6 PM or sooner. You may call (310) 802-5419 for return time message. If the trip is cancelled a refund of the trip cost will be returned and both camp sites will be open. All requested refunds granted are subject to a $25 administrative fee and must be requested 5 business days before the date of the trip. Trip ratio: 1 leader to 10 participants

The Teen Center Summer Program is a drop-in, non-custodial program, open to all resident and non-resident 6th, 7th and 8th graders. The Teen Center has a variety of activities available each day including foos-ball, ping-pong, pool, PlayStation, Nintendo Wii and Xbox, movies, basketball, volleyball, rock climbing wall, and much more! In ad-dition to the daily activities, the Teen Center has trips each Thursday. The Teen Center will be closed on trip days. A packed lunch is required every day except for Fridays when the Teen Center leaders accompany partici-pants to McDonalds or Tomboys. Residents must register for trips separately. Nonresi-dent's fee includes the trip. Nonresidents save $95 when you sign up for all 8 weeks at once (discount applied at the end of registration when all 8 weeks have been added to your cart). Closed on bus trip days, 7/4, and 7/5. Occasional Teen Center special activities may require additional fee from participant. A $5 fee will be charged for a membership card replacement.
