oversized fun on Columbus Day,
Monday, October 14th from 9am-
12pm at the north parking lot of
the Geneva Recreation Complex!
City Police, Fire and DPW vehicles
will be on hand for kids to explore
and the Recreation Dept. “retired”
Zamboni will even be onsite!
In addition to the City vehicles, this event will also offer the following activities that morning:
-Free activity area sponsored by MVP Health Care
-Bounce house for kids *weather depending*
-Discounted skating at the ice rink as well—$2 Admission/$1 Skate Rentals 1:00-3:00pm

Join the Historic North Neighborhood Association at Genesee Park for a
free outdoor movie and free Halloween activities for the whole family. Drinks and snacks

Join Carol in a class designed for both beginner and in-
termediate level yoga students. Focus will be on learning
how to reduce stress, improve flexibility and increase self

This class consists of floor exercises for toning the mus-
cles and stretching to increase flexibility. Great for all
levels of ability. Bring sneakers and participants can join
this class at anytime!
Over the Hill Hockey Program Days & Dates: Sunday’s– 11 weeks
Session 1: 10/6-12/16
Session 2: 12/22-3/8 *No hockey 2/2*
Times: 7:30-9pm
Fee: $15 per night, $145 per session, $275 for the

Join this drop in league for some Sunday
night fun on the ice. Safety equipment is
needed. Goalies play for free, no hard
checking allowed. For ages 18yrs & up.

This course will help you un-
derstand your camera and
get the most out of your
equipment in a fun and re-
laxed environment. All ages
and skill levels are welcome.
This course will cover manual controls such as
aperture, ISO, and shutter speed controls, JPEG
and RAW formats, functions of optical lenses, use
of natural and artificial light, image composition,
and post processing.

Learn to Skate Program– Ages 3-up!

Session 1 – Oct. 20th - Dec. 1st
Session 2 – Jan. 26th - Mar. 1st
Times: 11:30am & 12:00pm (25 minute sessions, time depends on skill level)
Fee: $45 per session, $80 for 2.
Must register for multiple classes in advance.

The perfect program for first time skaters! Skate rentals are included in the program fee!
Join our instructor on the ice as they teach basic skating skills. Group One: 11:30am beginner skill lev-
el 1. Group Two: 12:00pm beginner skill level 2. Helmets and gloves are required. Have a season pass
with us, take an extra $5 off your final registration cost per person!

Learn the fundamentals of hockey and acquire age appropriate skills in a fun instructional clinic set-
ting. These programs are skill development programs through USA Hockey’s

S E N I O R “G OLD ” P R O G R A M C O N T I N U E S A T T H E YMC A The Geneva Family YMCA and City of Geneva are partnering up to offer Senior Program-
ming. The “Gold” program was created for residents 65yrs of age or older with an interest
in healthy activities. Seniors have access to the Geneva YMCA Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 9a-
12pm.One aquatics class and one aerobics class is scheduled for each of these days for a total of six free
classes per week. Additionally, city residents have complete access to the Y’s Fitness Center, Cardio Room
and pool during this time. The program is funded by the City of Geneva and is free for qualified residents.
The Gold Card program cards can be obtained by completing an application at the Geneva YMCA and by

Passes do not include skate rentals. Passes are renewable every year, $5 to replace a lost key tag.
Sign up for your season pass at the Geneva Recreation Department in City Hall during normal business hours 8:30-4p . You can also register at the ice rink during public skating hours.
