COVINGTON PARKS & RECREATION

Your Parks, Your Trails! As Covington’s parks and trails grow, they come alive with your active discovery and year-round use.

You can make the most of our local outdoor opportunities that connect our communities by engaging in park activities where you can climb, picnic, play tennis, slide, birdwatch, zipline, reserve a gathering space and even circuit train outdoors. Covington Community Park, located at 180th Ave SE and SE 240th Street, now offers all these options in addition to its own network of accessible loop trails that cut across play spaces, natural areas and forests.

Walking and biking trails are Covington’s most requested outdoor amenity. Local and regional plans aim to more than double Covington’s existing seven miles of dedicated trails. We invite you to join these efforts and to walk, bike, hike, scoot, run, commute - even shop and dine - along our growing trail system.
