Windows 10 – Microsoft Edge Instructions for Fix

Installing Citrix Receiver on Windows Computers 1) Open your Internet Browser.

2) Navigate to http://access.atlanticare.org

3) Click on “Download Citrix Receiver”.

4) Click on the appropriate version for Windows XP or Windows 7/8/10.

5) Click Run.

6) On the User Account Control windows, click “Yes”.

7) Click “Start” to start installing the Citrix Receiver.

8) Put a check on the checkbox next to I accept the license agreement.

9) Then click “Next”.

10) Click “Install” to proceed with installation.

11) Click “Finish” once the installation is completed.

This concludes the install and you should be able to launch icons from Citrix (Atlanticare Access). If you are still having an issue and this is your personal pc or laptop then you will need to contact an outside company for more assistance. Our policies state that we are not allowed to troubleshoot beyond showing users how to download the ICA client.

Open or Save Launch.ica IE Fix If a user is using Internet Explorer 11/Edge when they click on an icon on Citrix, they might get a message stating “Do

you want to open or save launch.ica”.

With this workaround, users will no longer be asked if you want to open or save launch.ica and it will automatically

launch the application.

1) Open Internet Explorer and login into https://access.atlanticare.org

2) On Internet Explorer, click on the Cog (Gear Looking Icon) on the top toolbar.

3) Then click on Internet Options.

4) Proceed to the Security tab by clicking on “Security” on

the top.

5) Next click on the Green arrow that says “Trusted

Sites”.

6) Then Click on button, “Sites”

7) Next click “Add”.

https://access.atlanticare.org should be

automatically populated into the field.

8) Click Close

9) Click “OK”

10) On Internet Explorer, click on the Cog (Gear Looking Icon) on the top toolbar and on “Compatibility View Settings”.

11) On the textbox under “Add this website”, it should have atlanticare.org filled by default, if not please enter it and

click the “Add” button.

12) Next click the Close button.

13) Close down Internet Explorer and re-open it. You will no longer get the Save/Open Launch.Ica Message.

This will stop IE from asking if you want to OPEN, SAVE or CANCEL each time you click on an icon from your Citrix.

This concludes the fix for not receiving an Open or Save As prompt after clicking on icon from Citrix.
