This is a 1 day course.

Course Duration

Delegates are required to complete the full day (7.5 hours) to be eligible for certification.

The trainer will conduct an online exam with all delegates via video communication on Microsoft Teams. The trainer will read out the questions and answers, and accurately record the delegates chosen answer. The maximum exam time will be increased to 45 minutes to allow sufficient time for the pre-exam explanation and the question and answer options to be read to the delegate. The delegate must be visible via the video at all times and must not use any reference material as this remains a closed book exam.

Theory test consists of 25 multiple choice questions. Pass mark is 80%. There are 3 safety critical questions within the paper which have to be answered correctly in order to pass successfully.

Delegates successfully completing the course will receive a CITB Construction Skills Site Safety Plus Health & Safety Awareness certificate valid for five years.

They will then need to undertake a refresher course prior to the expiry date on the certificate to obtain another five-year certificate.
