Waste management is an activity of public interest and is regulated by thestatetoensuremaximumprotection.For waste management is the set of policies to manage the entire pro-cess of waste from their production to their ultimate fate, and involve the following: the collection, transport, treatment (recycling or disposal) and also reuse of waste materials usually produced by human activity, in an attempt to reduce their effects on human health and the environment.Fully in line with this approach, the CIS is responsible for the complete management of waste from collection to its processing (recovery and disposal). The collection is made in such a way as to favor the activities of material recycling and recovery.
