CIRCULAR

1. The Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh has offered a number of seats in theMBBS and BDS courses in the Non-Government Medical and Dental Colleges for foreign students for theacademic year 2019-2020 under self-finance scheme. lnterested applicants must fulfill the criteria F"mentioned below:

Criteria for Admission of Foreiqn Students.a. Applicants must have passed qualifying examinations i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate

(HSC/'A' level o'r equivalent examination.

b. Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/'O' level or equivalent examination passed not before20'|.6.

c. HSC/'A' level or equivalent examination passed not before 201g.

d. Minimum aggregate GPA in SSC/'O' level or equivalent and HSC/'A' level or equivalent:7.00 (Seven).

e. Minimum GPA either in SSC/'O' levelor equivalent and in HSCi'A' level or equivalent : 3.00

f. Minimum GPA in biology : 3.S0

c. For calculation of GPA against the marks obtained in SSC/'O' level or equivalent exam onlytop 5 subjects are considered. Therefore, GPA in 'O' level = (total marks obtained in topfive subjects)/S.

h. Optional subject shall be considered if GpA is below 5 (five).

i. For calculation of GPA against the marks obtained in HSC/'A' level or equivalent exam,only 3 subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) are considered. Qualifying grade ineach subject individually is "G". Therefore, GPA in 'A' level = (total marki oOtaineO inthree subjects)/3.

Photocopy of 4 (four) copies of academic certificates, admit cards and mark-sheet/transcript of SSC/'O' level or equivalent (passed not before 2016) and HSC/ 'A' level orequivalent (passed not before 2018). All the certificates must be duly attested by thecompetent authority, that is Education Board, the Ministry of Externai Affairs of indiaand the Bangladesh Mission in lndia.
