EPU FLOORINGS

Page 22: Cipy Introduction

The new generation EPU based floor toppings offer excellent abrasion resistance, flexibility, chemical resistance and fast curing properties. EPU is a multi polymer, hybrid of epoxy and PU, where the functional properties of both the products are combined to impart the optimum properties. It scores over conventional epoxies as well as polyurethanes in terms of performance. Its end use applications include automobile plants, pharma, food processing industries, chemical plants etc.

Features :

• Excellent adhesion• Insensitive to moisture• Highly flexible• Excellent abrasion and impact resistance• Excellent gloss and self levelling properties• Good chemical resistance. No cracks on joints• Flexo hard and Fast setting• No bubbles

PU FLOORINGS

Page 24: Cipy Introduction

The first to produce PU based floor coatings in India since 1986, Cipy offers a variety of PU coatings, aromatic as well as aliphatic to give the best abrasion and chemical resistant coatings. These are reaction products of NCO terminated adducts and OH terminated polyols like polyesters and polyethers.

Features :

• Excellent abrasion resistance• Excellent chemical resistance• Excellent impact resistance• Available in matt finishes• Suitable for engg industries• Suitable as CRF (chemical resistant floorings)• Sensitive to moisture

Cipy, India’s number one floor coating company offers the toughest flooring for the toughest application : Duracrete.

Duracrete is based on a unique chemistry where urethane and cement are fused to form a coating that is resistant to thermal shocks, aggressive chemicals, impact loads and vehicular traffic.

Duracrete is seamless, hygienic and does not support bacterial growth.

With many satisfied customers at national and international levels for more than three decades, Cipy’s Duracrete has withstood the testing times against heavily abused floorings.

ESD FLOORINGS

Page 30: Cipy Introduction

Static control flooring is defined as a flooring system that can drain staticcharges by grounding personnel, equipment or other objects contacting thefloor surface or that controls the generation and accumulation of staticcharges. There are two categories according to ASTM F-150-98 : Conductive &Static dissipative.

Conductive Floor has a resistance of 2.5 x 104–106 ohms per 3 ft. It can drainstatic charge dissipating a 5000-volt charge to zero in 0.05 seconds.

Static Dissipative floor has a resistance of 106-109 ohms per 3 ft. It can drainstatic charge dissipating a 5000- volt charge to zero in less than 0.2 seconds.

What’s Green Flooring?

• Reduces dependency on oil.

• Can last longer than conventional floorings.

• Creates pride in ownership and contributes to a better

world.

• Safe for you, the environment and the planet.

• Save your time and money and makes you look and feel

good.

• Ensures a healthy environment for future generations

• Do not contain toxic substances

• Low or no VOC

Page 41: Cipy Introduction

How Cipy is Green?

• Cipy’s green floorings do not contain solvent.

• Virtually odour free.

• No shut down is required and sensitive stock is protected

as Cipy green floorings have such a low odour, they can be

applied during normal business hours.

• Reduced solvents means no evaporation and

contamination.

• Utilises renewable energy sources

Cipy green floorings are committed to protecting our natural resourcesthrough a focus on environmental stewardship to help ensure a healthyenvironment for future generations. Cipy utilizes renewable energy resourcesin producing Cipy green floorings, rather than depending on 100 % petroleumproducts.
