Di cosa parliamo quando parliamo di Cinelli? Scegliete voi.Possiamo discutere delle vostre preferenze tra un telaio in acciaio e uno in carbonio, e di tematiche di alta ingegneria applicata alla corsa o alla pista. Pur avendo una invidiabile tradizione in materia, ci abbiamo lavorato su anche stamattina, per la gioia del ciclista con la C maiuscola.Ma se preferite, possiamo invece scambiarci informazioni sul ciclismo urbano alternativo delle giovani generazioni. Quello che vede nascere ogni giorno competizioni spontanee ed eventi in giro per il mondo.Perchè il ciclismo di oggi non è più un mondo solo. Ma tanti.E nessuno l’ha capito meglio di Cinelli. Siamo forse gli unici ad avere radici sviluppate, e antenne puntate, in molteplici direzioni. » Il meglio delle conoscenze tecnologiche del Columbus Carbon LAB insieme all’esperienza telaistica Cinelli hanno creato Very Best Of (VBO): il nuovo telaio monoscocca in fibra di carbonio top di gamma Cinelli.

» Ogni singolo elemento del telaio è stato analizzato e sviluppato per ottenere il massimo delle prestazioni con un peso ridotto, grazie ad un sapiente uso combinato di fibre di carbonio T700/HM.

» Geometria Pure Racing e passaggio cavi completamente interno, sia che si utilizzi un gruppo meccanico che elettronico (Born to be Wired).

» Tubo sterzo 1-1/8” – 1-1/4” progettato secondo il criterio 60/40 rapporto di sezione tra tubo obliquo e tubo orizzontale che in questo modo supporta maggiormente e scarica il tubo obliquo soprattutto nelle condizioni di elevato carico frontale della forcella, tipiche di una frenata improvvisa ad alta velocità. Il controllo di guida viene così notevolmente migliorato grazie anche alla leggera curvatura dei foderi della nuova forcella monoscocca.

» Il nodo sella è una delle soluzioni più caratteristiche del

telaio VBO, è il punto in cui il corridore scarica la maggior parte del proprio peso corporeo e dove le sollecitazioni indotte dalla strada si trasmettono maggiormente.

» Per minimizzarle abbiamo creato una speciale zona di transizione assottigliando i posteriori verticali rendendoli così più flessibili verticalmente e raccordando in maniera opportuna il tubo orizzontale, in questo modo le vibrazioni che arrivano dalla ruota posteriore non si trasmettono al tubo reggisella (e quindi al corridore) ma vengono distribuite tra il tubo orizzontale e quello verticale. La scelta di un reggisella di diametro 27,2 mm aumenta ulteriormente l’effetto di smorzamento delle vibrazioni.

» La scatola movimento consente un facile passaggio dei cavi che scorrono totalmente nascosti nella parte sottostante migliorando l’estetica della bici e riducendo sensibilmente la resistenza aerodinamica. La costruzione oversize della scatola e del fodero destro incrementano la rigidezza laterale del telaio aumentando considerevolmente l’efficienza della pedalata. Il fodero sinistro consente un facile fissaggio della batteria esterna dei gruppi elettronici.

» The best technological know-how of Columbus Carbon LAB together with the frame-building experience of Cinelli have created Very Best Of (VBO): the new carbon fiber monocoque frame, top of the Cinelli line.

» Every single element of the frame has been analyzed and developed to achieve maximum performance and reduced weight, thanks to brilliant combined use of T700/HM carbon fibers.

» Pure Racing Geometry and full internal cable passage, using either a mechanical or an electronic group (Born to be Wired).

» Steering column 1-1/8” – 1-1/4” designed according to the 60/40 ratio-standard between the down tube and the top tube, for an improved tubes interaction, taking stress off from the down tube, above all, in conditions of high frontal fork strain, as in sudden braking at high speeds. Steering control is significantly improved, also thanks to the slight curvature of the new monocoque fork blades.

» The saddle joint is one of the outstanding characteristics of the VBO frame, the point in which most of the rider’s weight is transferred and where road strains are transmitted most strongly. To minimize them we have created a special transition zone, slimming the rear seat stays to make them more vertically flexible, and connecting the top tube so that the vibrations from the rear wheel instead of being transmitted to the seat post (and, therefore, the rider), dispersing strains along the horizontal and vertical tubes. The choice of a seat post with a diameter of 27.2 mm increases the vibration dumping effect.

» The bottom bracket allows easy cable routing, completely concealed in the part below, improving the looks of the bicycles and significantly reducing aerodynamic resistance.

The oversized construction of the bracket housing and the right chainstay increase the lateral stiffness of the frame, considerably improving pedalling efficiency. The left chainstay permits an easy mount of electronic group external battery.

La particolare sezione oversize del tubo orizzontale in prossimità dello sterzo contribuisce a distribuire gli sforzi del tubo obliquo sull’intera struttura conferendole una maggior rigidezza.

The special oversized section of the top tube near the head tube area helps to spread uniformly the stress of the down tube on the entire structure improving it’s general stiffness.

Carico indotto dalla pedalata: tutta la zona della scatola movimento mostra bassi valori di sollecitazione grazie allo straordinario momento di inerzia degli elementi che convergono in essa.

» This is the frame of the Granfondo Cinelli Glass & Go team, which has taken our riders to countless victories. As suggested by the name, we introduced some modifications to this high-end Cinelli bestseller, to make it compatible with internal cable routing of electronics group sets.

» The frame is designed for competition and made with the finest aeronautical carbon fiber.

» The monocoque bottom bracket has been enlarged to accommodate the Press Fit 86,5 mm cartridge, and as a result the lateral stiffness of the frame has been incredibly increased, with a decisive impact on pedalling efficiency. This characteristic is boosted further by the Zero Torsion Flexion, a concept based on the use of triangular section seat stays.

» Cable routing is completely internal, also for the mechanical groups. In this case smooth operation is guaranteed by the presence of small Teflon sheaths inside the down tube, ensuring easy assembly while improving the bike’s look.

» The Columbus Fel 1-1/2” monocoque fork with straight blades make the bike incredibly accurate and reactive.

» This is the monocoque frame designed for the advanced amateur cyclist, with the possibility of internal cable routing in case of assembly with electronic shifters. Thanks to a specific kit of CNC aluminium parts including the cables stoppers and perforated plates, depending on whether a traditional mechanical or new electronic group is used, it is very easy to set up the frame both electronic or mechanical version.

» The new oversize head tube 1-1/8” - 1-1/4” increases the stiffness of the front part of the frame.

» Internal routing for the rear brake cable. » The section of the tubes of the Saetta Radical Plus increases according with the size of the frame, to optimize weight: bigger sizes are made with thicker tubes.

» Il telaio Laser, un’ icona Cinelli, grazie al lavoro del Laser Team diventa un gioiello in carbonio.

» Tutto Made in Italy attraverso una sofisticata tecnica di fasciatura degli elementi in carbonio e interventi di post curing, è possibile realizzare un telaio su misura di soli 890 grams.

» Abbiamo mantenuto gli elementi identificativi della Laser: la pinna sotto la scatola movimento, i raccordi dei nodi ed il passaggio della ruota posteriore ricavato nel tubo sella.

» Il passaggio dei cavi è completamente interno sia per i gruppi meccanici che elettronici.

» I forcellini posteriori intercambiabili a sandwich in alluminio CNC avvolgono e proteggono la parte centrale in carbonio totalmente integrata nel carro posteriore.

» All Made in Italy through a sophisticated wrapping and post-curing technique of the carbon elements, it is possible to build a custom frame of only 890 grams.
