Native American Ministries Sunday

Dear Friends,

There are at least two dimensions to my relationship with Jesus.

One, is as a teacher and model. I try to live his teachings and example. They are like a GPS system for my life. I get off course, but his example and teaching calls me back.

Two, is a power from beyond. Jesus is a living presence that brings wisdom beyond my own wisdom, loosens me to forgive beyond my own meagre at-tempts, and a love force I can yield to in setting the course of my life.

This Sunday we hear of both dimensions in Jesus’ final appearance to the dis-ciples found in John 21:1-19.
