Christmas Wishes!Dear Parents, Carers and Dancers,Wow, what a busy term we’ve had! This term we have welcomed lots of new starters, took part in various competitions, dazzled dancing on stage at Disneyland Paris, enjoyed supporting charity fundraisers; Children in Need, Christmas Jumper Day, Macmillan Coffee Morning, Young Mind, as well as supporting our local community events; Tesco Dance Beats, Ormskirk Halloween Scare Fest, Christmas Lights Switch On and Hip Hop History Breaking Day. We’ve also had lots of fun bringing our friends and family to dance with us in class and a particular well done to all the parents who joined in!

Students have excelled in our December exams, out of 161 exams, 52% received Highly Commended, 39% received Honours and 9% received Dinstinction. These are fantastic results and we are so proud of them. It has been great to see students pushing themselves trying new skills and developing their technique. We are looking forward to our Theatre production of Annie in February and dancing on stage at Liverpool Empire in April and much much more!

Dazzling Display at DisneylandTake us back to Disneyland, what a fantastic performance and a well done to all our Disneyland Paris team. The quality of the performance, the professionalism of the production and the showcase of exceptional talent was simply amazing. The level of energy, excitement, teamwork and enjoyment - truly inspirational. We have no idea how it was possible to have so many students, with a wide age range, working so marvellously together. We did it! and they absolutely smashed it!

None of this could happen without the skills, time and commitment of the performance troupe and a whole team of helpers all working hard. Every single student involved in this fantastic performance had an experience that they will never forget. Nor will those in the audience who loved every minute of it! It was very, very special. New projects on the horizon include the opportunity to perform on stage at Liverpool Empire, various national and international competitions and of course going back to Disneyland Paris’ again in 2021!.

DO YOU LOVE WEST END MUSICALS?

Bring Your Friend to Dance Week6th January - 11th January This was so popular in September we’ve decided to do it again in January! You are invited to bring your friends to class with you during this week. We’ll take your friends through a typical class as well play some dance based games! As space is limited please bring one friend per dancer. Friends should wear comfortable clothes or dance wear and can go barefoot or wear socks or dance shoes. Friends get to join in a class for free with no obligation to sign up for classes. Just make sure their parent completes the bring a friend form you will be given in class, so we know they are allowed to take class.

Dance with us at Liverpool EmpireSunday 26th April‘Smile Together’ is a fun and friendly show at the prestigious Liverpool Empire Theatre. Students will gain a special feeling of achievement performing on this huge stage and historic platform in front of nearly 2000 people!

A £21 deposit secures your place and covers the first 3 sessions and the £3 per dancer entry fee. Classes will be 2 hours with Junior and Senior groups on Fridays 5-7pm.
