USAIn the United States the holidays with Christmas character begin in November, just after the night of Thanks giving, which is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of the month. The following Saturday, in New York, is holding a big parade with Santa Claus, which inaugurates the Christmas season.

24 and 25 December in USA

In the United States, despite retaining that religious origin, Christmas is a festival based on consumerism and shopping. Its streets are adorned incredibly, also shops, also offering special products. It becomes generally on the feast of consumerism. They are celebrated in familiar ways. Members of families gather for dinner, eat, drink and enjoy meeting loved ones. Usually all tend to take some present, sweet or something to accompany the evening.

31 December in USA

The New Year is a holiday that is

usually held with friends.

Throughout the week the clubs

and bars are hundreds of people,

groups of friends celebrating the

last day of the year with love, joy

and eager to start the New Year

even better. On December 31,

when it begins the New Year,

fireworks dress colour the sky of

the United States and everyone

celebrates in its own way, always

with fun and entertainment.

China

China is a country with a Catholic minority at that Christmas is an important holiday, for these people the real celebration is the end of the lunar year. Many youth groups go out to dinner together local international food for some fun and spread of a spirit of Christmas, which although not part of their culture remains a great excuse to have a good time together.

The tour malls and international supermarket chains decorate their windows, placed carols and make foreign Catholics live the Christmas atmosphere to which they are accustomed at this time. How ever, December 25 is celebrated holiday and nothing really special.

31 December in China

Western celebrate New Year too. For several reasons, first because of the strong focus that Asians give Western culture and cultural globalization and secondly that some important parts of China and other Asian countries have belonged or been protectorates of European countries with which have been abundant reminiscences of those cultures. Still, not all Chinese Celebrates 31 December the New Year.
