Welcome to an extra special Christmas in Romford

What a year we’ve had in Romford! The Queen’s Jubilee and the Olympic Torch Relay really showed Romford at its best. And what better way to spend the final weeks of 2012, than to come and enjoy Christmas shopping and celebrations in our town. In Romford you will find 400 great shops, cafés and restaurants, from major high street names, to small independent boutiques. We also have our traditional market, one of the oldest in the country. Getting here is easy. We have 5,000 parking spaces which are free on Sundays; the town centre is only a short walk from the railway station and there are more than 30 bus routes serving Romford. Romford’s traditional market will be open every day in the run up to Christmas. It’s a great place to buy the freshest food and Christmas gifts at bargain prices. There’s great family entertainment and leisure facilities, including two multi-screen cinemas showing the latest blockbusters. Don’t miss our fantastic Christmas Lights Switch On in Romford Market Place on 15th November – it’s a great evening out for all the family.
