Decoration at spanish christmas

Here in Spain we can observe the houses , streets , shops…to see Christmas decoration . We decorate the city with great coloured lights. We switch them on in December . At Christmas the shop windows and the buildings are full of Christmas decoration .

In Spain , when Christmas comes we place ornaments in our houses . For example , we place a Christmas tree with figures , balls , stars , garlands…Also , we hang a figure of Santa Claus out of the window .

In many houses , we set a nativity scene .

The dinning table is also decorated . Mum has bought a special Christmas table cloth or puts a nice one and ellegant dishes , cups and cutlery . We put some ornaments made of candles and pine cones .
