Membership to attend the events.
Visitors on Campus All visitors MUST sign in when coming onto our cam-pus during school hours. There is a visitor log in our school office. Anyone on campus without a visitor badge will be directed back to the office to sign in.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students safe.
Congratulations to Mrs.

winning last week’s
Spirit Award!
Thank you for making the first week of
school successful. From the Red Carpet
Welcome to our Back to School Nights,
the halls of Hawkins were filled with
the excitement and hope of a new year!
On Friday, we had Welcome Back As-
semblies to go over our expectations and rules for the upcoming
school year. At the assembly, I shared our theme for the year with
students, which is “If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change
you.” We discussed that when we struggle through challenges in
life and persevere, we come out stronger, more satisfied and trans-
formed on the other side. We talked
about Michael Phelps’ story of struggle
and triumph and how he teaches us that
success is not defined by never falling,
but by how we rise up after we fall.
Our School Site Council will be meet-
ing on Tuesday. We are currently
seeking 2-3 parents willing to run for a
position on the School Site Council. This is a team of parents,
staff, and administrators who create our school plan and make deci-
sions on how the school budget is
spent. If you are interested in running
for the School Site Council, please
email me for details. This week we will
also have our first Hawkins Parent Fac-
ulty Club (HPFC) meeting on Wednes-
day. This is a wonderful opportunity to participate in our school
community. We will be planning school wide event for our school
community and invite you to join the team. Let’s work together to
make this the best school year yet!
