Ireland on Film is a four-film programme of documentaries which highlight several very different aspects of Irish history and culture: No Stone Unturned, Wish You Were Here: The Redbarn Story (final ever screening at Triskel), Rocky Ros Muc and Kevin Roche: The Quiet Architect. The Party is the latest film from Sally Potter with a stellar cast, The Killing of a Sacred Deer is the new film from director Yorgos Lanthimos (The Lobster), and Loving Vincent is the animated film which brings to life the work of artist Vincent Van Gogh. And of course we host an annual programme of Christmas Movies just before the holidays. It’s A Wonderful Life returns to Triskel Christchurch for a seventh year in a row (this time in a beautiful 4K digital restoration), as well as two other yuletide favourites The Muppet Christmas Carol and Die Hard.
