THIS SACRED MEAL Today we celebrate the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. Each of the readings includes a blessing and a sharing of food. They remind us of the central place of meals in our lives. Each meal brings to mind other meals: the sharing of cookies and milk, pizza and beer, loaves and fishes, bread and wine. A VERY SPECIAL EVENING….Deann Servos Executive Director of Prodisee Pantry joined the Knights for dinner on June 10th and spoke about the work at the Pantry. Did you know Deann, her Team with 3,600 volunteers not only distributed 580 tons of food and 113 tons of produce to 14,000 people in need but also supplied legal and medical services, and counseling for families. Deann stated their goal is to “Lift up families.” Deann is always looking for volunteers, monetary and food donations but most importantly, your prayers. St. Vincent de Paul Society June is the month our St. Vincent de Paul Society at CTK helps restock the food pantry for our neighbors at Ecumenical Ministries. A copy of the food list may be found in the vestibule of the church. Please put grocery bags at side door bins.

ONE FAITH ONE FAMILY CONFERENCE “The Family that plays together, prays together” Make plans to attend the One Faith One Family conference. Catholic Returning Home….This same hunger for the Eucharist is the number one reason why inactive Catholics return to full participation in our faith. There is no better day to do so than today. Invite the inactive Catholics in your life to join us for the heavenly banquet at Mass. Invite them also to Catholics Returning Home, a six week series that helps inactive Catholics find their way back home to the sacraments. Christ the King Life Teen in collabora on with St. Lawrence and St. Patrick's would like to invite all rising 9th-exi ng 12th grade teens of

Baldwin County to The Bash this summer. The Bash is a weekend retreat with the purpose of invi ng teens to reconnect with God during their summer break through inspiring

EDGE Edge is the Youth Ministry program for 6-8th graders at CTK Parish.

Camp Crea on Registra on Due 6/18 On June 24-28, EDGE will be program helpers at Camp Crea on, an

organiza on which serves underserved communi es in Foley with an extended VBS-type summer program. EDGE students are encouraged

to par cipate in the en re week, just like VBS at CTK! Each day, we will leave CTK at 7:30 am to Liberty Church and return at 2 pm.

Birmingham Mission Trip Rising 7/8th graders are invited to join the Birmingham Mission Trip

on July 19-21! We'll do 3 service projects, have a free night on Saturday to enjoy local Birmingham fun,
