When I opened Brother Jimmy’s back in 1989, there was a lack of quality Southern

food and BBQ in New York City. I wanted my BBQ joint to cater to both the trans-

planted Southerners living up North as well as the many folks who, like me, craved

authentic Southern cooking. The mission hasn’t changed in the years since then:

To spread the gospel of Southern culture, served up with our unique brand of

Southern hospitality.

Lovers of food and fun have been packing Brother Jimmy’s ever since. Our food is

made from scratch, guaranteeing some of the best quality BBQ in town. Our pulled

pork and ribs are the backbone of our menu of finger-lickin’ Southern favorites.
