Aloha Chocolate Extravaganza guests,

Since 2006, we have assisted over 1,200

parents and children on Oahu. Family

Promise of Hawai‘i partners with over 65

interfaith congregations and approximately

1,500 volunteers to shelter, feed, and support homeless families with children every day of

the year. In 2012, we provided 10,696 shelter bed nights and served over 30,000 meals to

our families. We could not have done this

without all of your support!

Our families have access to shelter, daily meals,

showers, laundry, phone, mail and weekly case

management at our Windward and Honolulu day

centers. We work very hard to ensure that our

families will be successful once they leave our

program. Parents receive training to improve

employment, learn financial management skills

and save for the future. We are very proud that

our intensive case management services provide

a success rate of 80% of our families securing housing within approximately 120 days.

One hundred percent (100%) of our families secured or bettered their employment in 2012

and all saved money to provide a safety net should they run into unexpected obstacles. We

appreciate your support and look forward to continuing our work until every child in

Hawaii enjoys a home!
