Rob Brazeau led the crew. Rob’s son also helped. The roundhouse doors were replaced with coiling doors to match the existing doors October 30th. Leaves and pine needles were removed from the tracks and from the turntable pit October 31st. Early November Update Highlights November 3rd. Panel tracks were assembled from the old track to the old switch, soon to be removed. November 10th. Work Day at depot. Organize shop area. Start at noon. Leaf Removal. Kirk Olson and Dave Peterson blew the needles and leaves from the track and turntable pit using back pack blowers. It was a three hour project for them. Removing the leaves and needles before the snow and cold rain will allow for rapid drying in the spring and make clean up easier.

October Update Highlights: • Despite the raining work day, the panel tracks were placed for final assembly for the West Side

Roundhouse Doors. • The failing doors for tracks 1,2,3, and 4 were replaced with new coiling doors matching the door for

tracks 5 and 6 late October. In the picture below, Dan Perkins is checking the new door during installation. Dan was the lead for this project. In the right picture, part of the coiled door is visible.

• Below, the finished project. Now all doors match. The coiling doors will make moving cars in and out of the roundhouse easier than the hinged doors.

• Tru Lock re-alarmed the new doors November 4th.

November 3 Track Work CVRF members Kirk Olson, Marc Brown, Byron Bobb, Andy Stanton, and Dave Peterson began connecting the panel track to the inside track coming down the hill heading for the platform. Byron measured to cut in the panel track (1) and with Kirk (2).Marc and Kirk bolt two panel tracks (3). The crew bolts last section of the day (4). Six sections now bolted to existing track (5).
