Don’t miss the Chinese New Year Retail Pop-Up Shop for all of your Year of the Pig items in the Hall of Brocade Clouds! Items include stuffed pigs, pig socks, pig shirts, and everything pig related! Additionally, shop a selection of silk scarves, home goods, and so much more.

Lan Su’s retail outpost will be open the same hours as the garden to meet all of your shopping needs.

As part of Chinese New Year — the Year of the Pig — four traditional Lantern Viewing Evenings close out the festivities. The garden will glow with hanging red lanterns illuminating sweeping roof lines and the lake will reflect the light of a large illuminated 20 ft. dragon lantern sculpture and flower lanterns!

A dragon procession by Lee’s Association Dragon & Lion Dance Team, the popular Wishing Tree activity, family-friendly lantern craft activity, calligraphy and a performance by the Portland Chinese Dance Troupe are all a part of these special evenings. Vegetarian noodle boxes by Strait’s Kitchen alongside wine & beer will be available for purchase. Complimentary hot cider will be provided. The Teahouse will be open each night with non-reserved seating ($10 per person minimum).
