History

• Music and dance has been around for over 1,000 years.Music and dance are part of culture,all cultures are different ,but have similarities.Chinese culture is something very interesting.Most of its culture come from the ancient times. Chinese culture has not changed at all, that is because they think that their culture represents their country.The famous and very traditional opera from Asia(China) existed before the Great Wall of China,that's a long time ago.

• This is a very traditional instrument.The Dizi is similar to the side flute,but the Dizi is harder.This song has been played for years.The composer wrote it for peace.Not only in his house,but in his large country,China.This piece is beautiful and my favorite of all.I want to learn how to play it.This piece has many names in other countries but its original name is Autumn Meditation.

• This piece of all the instruments together,is very famous and traditional.It is called Jasmine Flower.This piece was composed during the ancient times.It is about the love between a man and a women.I personally think that this piece has changed during the years,but is still a beautiful piece.

• This is a dance that is very popular in China.This is always danced by a group of deaf people.This dance is SUPER hard. Although it looks easy it is not.The deaf people created this to show others that they do have talent.Since that group was created it has been very traditional.

• This is a the dance for the song Jasmine Flower.It is about the love between a man and women.I love this dance,it is like ballet.

• This culture is awesome,I thought that it was very interesting.I first thought that the dances were weird and very different, but then I research about the dances and music and I saw the meaning about it.Then after this I learned a very important thing while doing this project,all cultures are different,but have people with feelings and similarities.
