INTRODUCTIONDid you ever wonder what animals live in China? There are many different animals in China . Here

are some of the animals that Chinese people know of : the dragon, the snake, the panda, the horse, and birds. Now let’s find some more facts about those Chinese animals in our story.

 

DRAGONThe dragon is a mystical animal that brings good luck. The dragon carries on

of China’s luck colors red. The dragons is in a lot myths and legends. The dragon is in the zodiac calendar.

Dragons lucky colors are gold ,silver ,Grayish ,and white . It is ranked fifth in the zodiac. The dragon has the highest population of people born.

SNAKE

The snake is also in the zodiac calendar. This year (2013) is the year of the snake. Some snakes are venomous and some are not. Snakes mostly eat rats as well as other animals. The snake is a carnivore, it eats other animals like small lizards frog eggs, frogs, and birds .

Snakes usually live in trees. Some snakes sometimes live in bushes. Snakes like to hang out on branches.

Snakes are active in daylight hours for snakes is 10:00-4:00.

HORSEThe spirit of the horse is recognized to be the Chinese people are making an effort to improve them selves. Horses are really fast because they have long legs and some horses bodies are made for races.

PANDAPandas are about 250-350 pounds. The panda grows to be 4-6 feet long. Pandas have an amazing sense of smell. Pandas can climb up to 13,00 feet. A panda’s favorite food is bamboo.

BIRDSChinese birds are falcons, hawks, cardinals, and blue jays. Falcons and hawks go

in the bird group, birds of prey. Birds in this group are predators. Cardinals and blue jays are regular birds they hunt stuff when animals are dead.

Blue jays and cardinals are not prey to birds of prey.

CONCLUSION

Each year there’s one animal of the year. A man, Buddha wanted the animals in the zodiac. Some people believed the animals of the zodiac.

Over time it was believed that people took on the traits of the animals that ruled the year they were born.
