1.1 Purpose and Contents “China Merchants Securities (HK) Financial and Trading Platform” (called “CMSHKFNT”) is a new internet trading

platform with web and mobile interfaces, developed and launched by China Merchants Securities (HK) Co., Limited.

1.2 Audience The document is designed for all end users.

1.3 Function The Internet Trading Platform includes functions below:

3. General Platform Information

3.1 Web Trading Web Trading platform runs smoothly in the most popular browsers. Minimum Requirements are:

Recommend using:

o IE version 10 or later

o Google Chrome 31.0 or later

o Mozilla Firefox 38.0 or later

o Mac OS (Safari 10.0.3 or later

The system is designed to fit at least 1280 x 960 resolution

Default system language is Traditional Chinese

3.2 Mobile Application (iOS & Android) Minimum OS Requirements:

iPhone – iOS 9.0 or later

Android – 4.1 or later

4. Major Functions

4.1 Account Management and Trading (Portfolio and Trade)

4.1.1 Login

Enter your Login Name and Password and click Login, alternatively, you may press “F12” to login to the platform

Read and Accept the Terms of Use

4.1.2 Cash

Path: Portfolio > Cash

All funds information is available

The first half showing the integrated funds information for reference to clients, including all CMSHK applicable

currency and asset value

Click “Currency” can change integrated total value in terms of different currency, including HKD, CNY and USD

Click the Button next to “Currency” can redirect to CMSHK Corporate Website in another browser to view the

Reference Exchange Rate

The second half showing the funds information of individual currency

4.1.3 Holdings

Path 1: Portfolio > Holdings

Path 2: Trades > Buy Sell > Holdings

All holdings are shown in separate markets with different comparisons and information. If there is no market data

for the stock, previous closing price is used

Click “Export” to export all data about “All holdings” in excel format

4.1.4 Buy / Sell

The order ticket interface and steps

Available Order Types for H shares (subject to

individual account setting) are:

- Limit Order

- Special Limit Order

- Enhanced Limit Order (Default)

- Auction Limit Order

Available Order Type for A/B shares is:

- Limit Order (Default)

Purchasing Power:

- The total purchasing power that client may use to

do stock purchase

- The total value of all applicable currencies and

securities’ value in different markets as HKD

Equivalent purchasing power

- The calculation of purchasing power may deviate

due to the change in stock prices and exchange rate

SSE and SZS Securities for Margin Trading are enabled in

CMSHK.

For Margin Clients, the purchasing power may change

based on list of SSE and SZSE Eligible Securities for

Margin Trading.

If the stock is not in the list of SSE and SZSE Eligible

Securities for Margin Trading, only ledger balance of all

applicable currencies will be calculated in the purchasing

power.

A confirmation box indicates the trade details will be

pop-up before sending the order to the market

Client can place orders anywhere if there is Buy / Sell

Button and the order ticket will be opened

An alert will be shown if the ledger balance of the

trading currency is insufficient to buy the stock even

though the client has sufficient purchasing power

4.1.5 Order Status

Path (1): Portfolio > Holdings > Order Status

Path (2): Trade > Buy/Sell > Order Status

In “Order Status”, all orders are sorted by Order No., i.e. the latest order is always on top

Client can either choose “Manual Update” or “Auto-update every 10 seconds”, default setting is “Manual Update”

“Amend” option is available for HK shares only

“Cancel” option is available for all markets

Click “Export” can export all orders in Excel format

4.1.6 Transaction History

Path: Portfolio > Holdings > Transactions

Transaction History is sorted by Trade Time, i.e. the latest transaction is always on top

Transaction records are available for past 6 months

Clients can choose different period of transaction history, e.g. 1 month, 3 months and 6 months

Click “Export” can export all records in Excel format

4.1.7 Stock In / Out Record

Path: Portfolio > Holdings > Stock In/Out

Stock In/Out records are available for past 30 calendar days
