New Community Church

Every Sunday morning at 7:30 A.M. in the parking lot at the Westwood in Garwood, N.J. you can find a small

group of God’s faithful servants unloading the contents of a trailer that will soon transform a banquet hall and

bridal suite into a church, a nursery, and Sunday School rooms.

What We Believe …

Jesus was the begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, truly God and truly man

The Godhead exists as three persons: the Father ,the Son an the Holy Spirit. These three are God, having the same nature ,attributes and perfection.

We are justified by God’s grace alone. The moment we trust in Christ as our Savior we pass out of death and into everlasting life which is received by faith alone.

Scripture is the Final Authority for salvation and life.

God is sovereign. God is absolutely in control at all times and in all places.

What We Believe …

God has chosen His people to be saved and to serve Him in this life and in life eternal.

The Church exists as a community of Christians expressing the promises of god in its life, commitment, and ministry.

Faithful Stewardship – God’s people are called to be responsible to the creator for the good gifts He has given to all.

God must come FIRST ,above ALL things.

The mission of all believers is to preach and bear witness to the Gospel.

have a heart to share Jesus with children and teach them

about a lifelong relationship with Jesus.

Sunday Morning Ministry Opportunities

NurseryNursery Volunteers are needed from 9:15-10:45am once a month to care for and provide a safe and welcoming environment for the children in their care.

Toddler ClassWe are looking for a volunteer to lead worship for our Toddler Class.

Sunday SchoolVolunteers are needed to teach on a monthly rotating basis from 9:45-10:30am.

The Value of Reaching a Child For Christ

Dwight Moody understood the substantial victory that takes place when children accept Christ. After an outreach service at a local church, an acquaintance asked, “Reverend Moody, were there any converts tonight ?”

The legendary evangelist said, “Yes, there were three and one-half.”

The friend responded, “Ah, three adults and a child.”

Moody clarified, “No there were three children and an adult.” He then continued, answering the bewildered look on the inquirer’s face. “An adult only has half a life remaining to live for Christ, but the children will have the entirety of their lives to know His blessing and serve His will.”
