Childhood means Fun unlimited… bounteous shower of love and care… realm of imagination and joy of

growing up…

In India, to commemorate childhood, Children's Day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of J a w a h a r l a l N e h r u o n 1 4 N o v e m b e r i n recognition of his contribution and love towards children. Likewise the childhood of our students of Goldcrest High was celebrated on the reopening day 15 November 2016 with the Hawaiian Theme. The students came exquisitely dressed in their Hawaiian theme clothes. They danced to tunes of Hawaiian music. The teachers prepared a refreshing orange drink for them and served fruits for snacks.

The students had a jolly time celebrating Children's Day and dispersed with colourful takeaways to spread the love and fun they enjoyed in school.

Inter-school Dance Competition was conducted by Lions Club APMC on Saturday, 26 November 2016 for

fund raising at Vishnudas Bhave Auditorium, Vashi.

While most are dreaming of success, winners wake-up and work hard to achieve it.

Likewise the students of Sr KG auditioned to participate in the competition. 30 girls and boys were selected and

trained by the dance teachers for the competition. Four teachers along with the academic coordinator

accompanied the participants to the venue for the competition on the respective day. The students had a fun-

filled experience at the competition.

21 DECEMBERCHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

Christmas is the festival of love, joy and sharing. To inculcate these values in our students, Christmas was

celebrated with joy and fervor on 21 December 2016. Fancy dress was organized for the students keeping the

Christmas theme in mind. The students came dressed beautifully as Rudolph the Reindeer, Snowman, Christmas

tree, Joseph, Mother Mary etc for the same. The students spoke a few lines about their character. A teacher

dressed as Santa Claus visited classrooms and distributed sweets while wishing all a Merry Christmas. The

students went home happy with their lovely take aways singing the “jingle bell”.
