“A Stiff-Necked People”
Bloomfield Baptist Family: I will faithfully participate with this Church in worship, prayer,
Bible study, fellowship, service, giving, and the ordinances of
baptism and the Lord’s Supper. I will serve the other mem-
bers of this body in love by praying for them, helping them in
sickness and distress, promoting their spiritual growth, pro-
tecting them from sin, and encouraging them to love and to
good deeds. I will flee gossip and divisive words, knowing
that they dishonor God and destroy Christian fellowship. (A
section from the Membership Covenant of Bloomfield Baptist
Church)
As members of this church body, we share a commitment to
“faithfully participate with this Church”. That participation in-
cludes praying for one another, encouraging one another and
gathering together to fellowship with one another.
I want to invite you to gather with our church family for our
Members Meeting and Fellowship at 6:30pm this Sunday,
January 28th. During our Members Meeting we will address
membership (additions, letter requests and removals), pray
for our church and hear an update from our Taipei Mission
Team. Please bring soup, sandwiches and desserts to
share.
I hope that every member of our church will take this opportu-
nity to come and gather with our church family to be encour-
aged about the work the Lord is doing at Bloomfield Baptist
Church.
Reaching Bloomfield with You,
Pastor Richard
