INTRODUCTION-WHAT IS CHILD LABOR?• The dictionary defines child labor as the employment of children in an industry or

business especially when illegal or considered exploitative

WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF CHILD LABOR• It is an injustice to children across the world and spreading the word of child labor is a

very effective way to stop it

HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN OCCURRING FOR AND WHERE IN THE WORLD HAS IT BEEN HAPPENING• Child laboring occurs all over the world in all of the continents in the world, and has been

around since at least when the Industrial Revolution occurred.

WHY DOES CHILD LABOR OCCUR?• There is a cycle in child laboring, where when the children that were forced to work

when they were young will pass that tradition on to their own kids, who then pass it on to their kids and so on and so on

Page 7: Child Labor

HOW CAN IT BE STOPPED?• The total price of ending child labor would

cost just over $750 billion

• This would be the cost of finding alternatives for the children to do instead of working

• These alternatives include; building schools for education, creating strict laws on child laboring, and providing sport for them

• Speaking out against child labor is also very important to the ending of this cruel business

MY OPINION ON CHILD LABOR• My opinion of child labor is that it is an injustice to all children across the globe and I

believe that it is unfair that some people are getting a higher education and a higher chance to live because of where they were born or how were they raised

• I also think that we in different countries should put more of an effort to help the less fortunate in third world countries. This can be achieved by donating money to these people or providing them with materials such as books, pencils or any other type of school supplies.
