About the Institute :

HJD Institute of Technical Education & Research-Kutch is the first

self financed engineering college in Kutch, managed by Swa. Kanji

Karshan Halai Education and Charitable Trust. The Institute was

established in 2010 and started its journey with 290 students; at

present more than 1200 students are studying in BE, ME and

diploma courses. It is situated in the natural surroundings at a

distance of 25Km from Bhuj town of Kutch district in Gujarat. At

present, the Institute offers Diploma, Degree and Post graduate

program in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical

Engineering and Computer Science Engineering. The Institute is

awarded as “The Most Emerging Institute in West India in terms of

Educational and Technical Campus ” by Earth Research Foundation -

Delhi.

About the Civil Engineering Department :

The Civil Engineering Department is the part of HJD institute since its

inception. At present the Department is running BE, ME and

Diploma courses with intake of 120, 24 and 60 respectively. Over the

years, the department has progressed at rapid pace with

development in both the spheres of infrastructure and faculty

members. The department has highly qualified faculty members

engaged in teaching, research and consultancy works. The

department is equipped with state of art class rooms and well

equipped laboratories. For continuous growth of students as well as

faculties, department has been regularly conducting number of

seminars, technical events and field visits. The department also

provides E-learning through online web contents.The mission of Civil

engineering department is to generate specialized civil engineers by

training through the state of art laboratories with latest hardware and

software.

About the Program :

The Faculty Development Program has been organised to give

an insight of recent advances innovative materials as well as

construction technologies applied in eld of Civil Engineering.

Technical lectures will be provided by renowned resource

persons from Academics institutions and Industries. The

program will be benecial to various disciplines of Civil

Engineering.

Course Content :

The FDP will provide an open platform for academicians to

discuss the latest development in various engineering elds

and to make a rsthand assessment of the existing challenges

with an ambition to arrive at prospective solution and dene

future strategy. The course will cover variety of elds such as

Registration Details :

Registration fee includes registration kit, course material and

working lunch. Fees can be paid by in the form of a Demand

Draft /at par cheque in favor of “HJD Institute of Technical

Education and Research” payable at Bhuj.

Accommodation and TravelAccommodation in institute hostels shall be provided to participants upon prior request on payment basis. The participants have to bear their own traveling expenses.
