CHICAGO MERCANTILE EXCHANGE

Contact: Lindsay Phillips

Phone (31) 930-1410

CME Group partnered with Chicago Art Source to develop a custom and comprehensive Corpo-

rate Art Program for their global headquarters in Chicago. As a part of their 28-floor renova-

tion, CME Group introduced vibrant images of global cities, products, trading and technology for

their public corridor walls. Photographs were displayed behind large-scale, Plexiglas panels and

suspended by stainless steel pegs. These materials beautifully match the contemporary energy in

the interior architecture and successfully represent the innovative CMEG brand.

In addition to the artwork for the public corridors, Chicago Art Source designed and developed

a web-based art catalog for CME Group employees to select and order artwork for their pri-

vate offices. The diverse, yet curated selection of images appealed to the various interests of

the CME Group employees while offering artwork options that were consistent with the brand’s

aesthetic.

NORTHERN TRUST BANK

Contact: Henry Kurek

Phone: (31) 444-7164

Northern Trust is a Chicago-based bank that expanded by building out a downtown location.

Northern Trust’s goal was to adorn its walls with local photography of natural and historical Chi-

cago imagery. Given a budget of $00k, Chicago Art Source worked within an existing data-

base of images to create custom works for the space. The photographs were beautifully framed

and mounted to Plexiglas using brass stand-off pegs for hanging. The end result infused a touch

of the outdoors and complimented their modern, new downtown space.

FRAMES

The frames pictured are a “cap” frame or standard gallery frame profile. The wood tones vary

from light to dark. It is our recommendation to keep the profile of the frame the same on all or

most of the artworks selected, but adjust the wood tone to best suit the artwork. These frames

may be used on the reproductions as well as the editioned prints.
