Cherrybrook is a baby that’s so very tiny, a beautiful fair skinned girl.
Cherrybrook is to be her home, her heart-warming, life changing home.
Cherrybrook is the old man, black and happy his wise multicultural life creasing his face with smiles,
Cherrybrook is his home, his life, his happiness, his long, long life.
Cherrybrook is the girl learning to walk laughing whenever she falls,
Cherrybrook is the sun that lightly freckles her skin, the place where her hair lengthens and her freckles increase,
Cherrybrook is the man exhausted, old, unhealthy but his home still keeps him alive,
Cherrybrook becomes a school that receives a new student, a scared and shy kindergarten eager to create a friend,
Cherrybrook is John Purchase’s years zipping by as the girl grows older,
Cherrybrook becomes host to a old stiff body, an escaped spirit.
Cherrybrook is the whole-hearted people that weep at his funeral, sorry for a great loss of a father, friend or family.
Cherrybrook is the girl grown into an adult who leaves her old and memorable home,
Cherrybrook is the memory forever to keep her happy the friendly small suburb, Cherrybrook.
