The Association of the Chemical Profession of Alberta offers two scholarships for students studying chemistry – the ACPA Undergraduate Scholarship in Chemistry and the Arthur Bollo-Kamara Graduate Scholarship. The deadline for applications for both scholarships is March 31, 2013

The Reaxys PhD Prize is awarded for original and innovative research in organic, organometallic and inorganic chemistry, which demonstrates excellence in methodology and approach by a candidate currently studying for a PhD or having completed a PhD after January 1, 2012.

Three Prize Winners will each receive a check for $2000.The 2013 Winners and Finalists will all be invited to attend and present their research at the 2013 Reaxys PhD Prize Symposium and Poster Session, held in conjunction with the Reaxys Conference, September 22 – 24 2013, Grindelwald, Switzerland.

Submissions will be accepted from December 14, 2012 until February 8, 2013.

Submissions consist of a CV / resume, Supervisor’s recommendation letter and a representative peer-review published paper.
