2002 aminocarboxylic acids aminocarboxylic acids (hydrazinocarboxylic acids) and esters (acyclic compounds) P 0270 15 - 075 Preparation of Optically Active β-Amino Acids from Microbial Polyester Polyhydroxyalkanoates. The title compound (III) is efficiently prepared in a four-step procedure starting from poly-(R)-3- hydroxybutyrate obtained from bacterial cells.
