KGaA, Weinheim www.cheminform.wiley-vch.de Catalysts H 2000 Composite Semiconductor H2WO4·H2O/AgCl as an Efficient and Stable Photo- catalyst under Visible Light. — The composite of title with AgCl particles formed on the surface of H2WO4·H2O is prepared by the ion exchange reaction between Ag2WO4 and concentrated HCl under sonication. The samples are characterized by XRD, SEM, and UV/VIS diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. Organic dyes, such as Rhodamine B, methylene blue, and methylene orange are quickly bleached by H2WO4·H2O/AgCl un- der visible light irradiation.
