With your help, we can grow our co-op economy and serve more people than ever before. The new locaon will become a downtown staple, where everyone in our community can truly shop local. We provide goods from over 40 local farmers and arsans within 60 miles of Detroit Lakes. The capital campaign will not only cover the direct costs of fing up the retail space, but also provide necessary finances to support the co-op in its next chapter and allowing us the flexibility to grow into our new downtown locaon. “I shop at MANNA Food Co-op because they offer the most nutrient dense and tasty produce by sourcing in-season and local, taking the guess work out for the customer. I go to MANNA and know that when I walk out I have food that will feed my family all of the right things. By moving MANNA downtown, more people can get there via foot. Let’s work together and make health a priority for Detroit Lakes, and this includes walkability to consciously sourced foods.” Chelsea Manke HOW CAN YOU HELP? Our fundraising goal is $400,000 in pledges by May 31, 2020. Two ways to invest in your co-op community: 1. Invest in Preferred Shares: (only for Member-Owners who are MN Residents). Investments at $500 per share will not only a benefit the co-op, but can provide you a financial return through future dividend possibilies and buy back opons. 2.
