Preparation of check dams

• Check dam is formed with the help of stones & bamboo as supports.

• First base of land make leveled from undulated surface.

• Used bamboo poles as a supports to stones.

• Base of Bamboos covered in polythene to protect from termite.

• About 35-40 cm portion of bamboo planted in the soil.

• Big sized stones put at base after making furrow about 12-15 cm deep.

Putting horizontal bamboo to check disturbance in stone arrangement during high intensive rainfall.
