SOCIAL SERVICES

“The Department of Social Services is comprised of Master’s level and Licensed Clinical Social Workers that are assigned to the hospital inpatient units and outpatient clinics. In support of CHCC’s mission and values, social workers provide a range of services that promote physical, emotional and psychological well being.”

CHCC social workers help guide and support patients and their families through the entire health care process.

Social workers assist families with personal, emotional, financial and family problems that may affect a child’s health.

Social workers help parents understand treatment plans and goals and offer crisis intervention, information and referral to community support agencies and other services.
