INTRODUCTION:

An impact machine is used to determinate the energy absorbed in the fracture of a standard metal simple hitting at high speed.

In its Digital version can work almost automatically, you can launch the impact hammer in 2 ways once the Polycarbonate door has been

closed:

After breaking the sample, the impact hammer is automatically brake and after stopping it starts to raise the impact hammer to its initial

position also in an automatic mode.

With the Impact Tester, it is delivered an Impact Hammer of:

- 300 Joules of capacity with the PIC-300 model (Weight of the impact hammer suspended and fixed to the main rotating axis = 20,4 Kg (200 N)

- 450 Joules of capacity with the PIC-450 model (Weight of the impact hammer suspended and fixed to the main rotating) = 30,6 Kg (300 N)

- 750 Joules of capacity with the PIC-750 model (Weight of the impact hammer suspended and fixed to the main rotating) = 51 Kg (500 N)

The entire pendulum is protected with a closed safety to carry out the tests with great protection for the user, with a safety door.

ground to work with this testing machine.

ANVILS AND SUPPORTS (Included in the standard supply)

The anvils and the supports have been designed to obtain an excellent precision in the positioning of these, as well as a great rigidity. The distance between the anvils is obtained by moving these laterally. They are guided in the bench and fixed in the correct position with two Allen screws for each of the anvils.

Charpy / Izod grooving brushes Our brushes comply with most standards, ie BS, ISO, EN, ASTM and many other groove profiles according to international standards. Due to the variety of brushes and slot configurations, brush orders are made separately. Brush grinding service We also offer a brush grinding service. Please note that this depends on the condition of the brush. We only rectify the cutting band (the cutting edge) and not the shape. In general, if the shape is worn or there is more than one tooth adjacent to a broken one then it may not be possible to sharpen the brush again.
