Fees for services are based on a sliding scale with income verification required. Private health insurance, Value Options, Medicaid and Medicare assignments are also accepted when applicable.

Children and adolescents face unique develop-
mental, social, behavioral and emotional chal-
lenges. Charlotte Behavioral Health Care can
assist you, your child and family in addressing
these challenges. In fact, our specialized chil-
dren’s staff treat over 2,000 children every year
and are committed to providing the best treat-
ment for your child.
CBHC’s professional staff uses effective treat-
ment and intervention methods to help ensure the
healthy emotional and social development of
your child. Our children’s therapists work with
families in Charlotte County and outlying areas
to develop individualized treatment plans that
specifically target:

Services available for Children, Adolescents & Families
Therapy Services will address mental health and co-occurring substance and/or chemical abuse, parenting challenges and family dynamic issues. Our community based services are available in the home and/or school based, centered on the severity of issues. Case Management Services include monitoring, linking and advocating for families with basic needs such as housing, food, financial resources, access to medical services, school issues and locating support and resources available within our community. Psychiatric Services provided by a board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist, along with a team of ARNP’s and licensed nursing staff that are specially trained in child, adolescent and family psychiatry. Each team member has a deep commitment and respect for the unique medication needs/issues.
