In my community, there are children which is Out of School Youth. Parents who can’t afford to let their children be in school, this mini project will help a little for them.

I choose this mini project because many children in my community cannot read and write due to poverty. Even in this small and little way I can help them. I also want that when this children get older people will not underestimate their knowledge. I want them to be educated because I want to help them to have a better future for their life, family and also for the country where they grew.

In order to achieve this mini project, I invited some children in my community to come to my house during Saturday and teach them how to read and write.

All in all, there are 10 children participated. The first thing I taught to them is the alphabetical letter. Having a jobless parent is one of the reason why some children are out of school.

In order to make my mini project successful, I made a step by step plan.

1. I invite children in my community and explain to them why I invited them.

2. In my house, I prepared materials that will be needed to teach the children how to read and write.

3. During Saturday, I taught children how to write letters of the English Alphabet, and how to pronounce it.

4. Using the materials I made, I am going to explain to them how to read and write the letters of the English Alphabet.

5. Now, the children I’ve invited still come to our house for an additional learnings of the basic skills.

After my mini project, there are 10 children who actively participated in me. .As the result of my project, this ten children knows already in writing and reading the letters English Alphabet. Furthermore, every child in my community will learn more about the Alphabet.

And also, the parents of this children will be aware of the importance of EDUCATION. Because, an educated person will be confident in facing the people who is also educated.
