PRESENTATION:

The drawing has been sprayed with Fixative to prevent smudging/smearing.

Your drawing is free of unnecessary smudges, smears, rips, tears, and wrinkles.

The final piece is evident of quality time, thought, and care.

DESIGN:

You have achieved a dynamic composition through your decisions of the size, view, and placement of objects on your page.

There is a clear sense of visual movement throughout your composition.

The background of your piece is completely considered.

STUDIO SKILLS:

You used all three types of drawing media (compressed charcoal, vine charcoal, and eraser) to create a wide range of values, from the darkest possible darks, to the lightest possible lights.

OBJECTIVE:

You and your group created a still life that conveys a chosen emotion.

In your drawing, you have created the illusion of form by achieving a wide range of values and an accurate depiction of space.

You have avoided using lines to define your objects, and have instead relied on shapes of values and light to create forms.
