Characteristics of Corian® by DuPont Durable Corian® (product and brand of DuPont) was developed to provide a suitable material for various uses in living and business areas. It is impact-, scratch- and abrasion-resistant and, because of those characteristics, it can be implemented in areas that are heavily frequented. Hygienic and Non-Porous Corian® is a non-toxic material and contains no substances that can change the surface – not even after lengthy utilization. Smooth, non-porous surfaces and seamless joints provide optimum hygiene. Due to this property, it is ideal in medical facilities for use in operation rooms, clinics, bathing areas for patients, and medical laboratories. Environmentally Safe Corian® is manufactured according to strict regulations to prevent waste and to minimize energy use during the entire production process. Hygienic and Non-Porous
