From the firn basin, a glacier is slowly moving down the mountain. Erosion is causing moraine and debris

Firn formation: a fluffy snowflake turns into firn caused by - melting and freezing over and over again- pressure of new layers of snow, so old layers are pressed together

Ice age or glacial: a period when the summer temperature is below 10˚CNowadays we are in an interglacial period
