Aquatic Facilities Now Open - Updated GuidelinesWith the opening of both Pool One and Pool Two, along with the Woodhaven Lakefront Beach, summer has officially arrived! Please know that as your Operator, all Aquatic Facilities are licensed by the IDPH and that Phase Four Guidance for Swimming Facilities require Woodhaven Association to develop written plans (most of which are contained in this article) that are to be available for inspection by IDPH and/or authorized government agent(s). Capacity will be limited to 50 patrons at any one time at each of the three Aquatic Facilities. Each location will open and close on a two-hour rotation schedule. Registration for these times are required; must be made in person; on the day of only; for only one time slot; and at the particular “piece of heaven” you desire to swim at. If we are not at capacity, you will be welcomed in when you arrive to register. Regardless of attendance, all Aquatic Facilities will close every two hours and patrons will be dismissed from the facility. Bathrooms will not be accessible 10 minutes before and at closing as this is when they will be cleaned and sanitized. All lounge chairs on the pool deck, handrails, slide and diving board structures, picnic tables, and high contact areas will be sanitized during the 10-minute time-slot-switchover. Note! – Use the same lounge chair throughout the time of your visit and do not move the chairs from their locations on deck. All chairs at the Beach must be returned upon your leaving.All patrons upon entering the facility are required to have their temperature taken and will be denied access if 100 degrees f. or more. At this time and periodically throughout your visit, patrons will be in-person screened verifying no Covid 19 symptoms. Please! Unless you feel 100% healthy and are well hydrated, do not visit the aquatic facilities. If you are experiencing nausea, headaches, diarrhea, cough and congestion and/or fever, please do not visit the aquatic facilities or any other public facility. All patrons should wash their hands frequently or use the hand sanitizer as provided at each of the Aquatic Facilities. Social Distancing of six feet (6’) must be followed at all times. This includes sidewalks and entrances; pool decks, sun shelters, pool stairs and ladders; and most importantly when in line waiting to use the water slide or diving board. This also includes accessing and using the swim dock at the Beach. We encourage masks to be worn at all times by patrons when not in the water.Open Swims will operate daily from;

The following programs will not be available during the first two weeks of opening - Lap Swims, Aquatic Exercise Hour, Aqua Zoomba, Night Swims, and Adult Swims. All available operating time will be devoted indiscriminately to all ages of the family. Each of the individual programs will be evaluated on their own merit during this time and determination on their potential implementation this summer will be made by July 13th.Multiple groups of 50 at Aquatic Facilities are addressed in the provided guidelines, however proper interpretation as intended by the IDPH will take time to discuss with them in hopes this might occur at one or all our Aquatic Facilities soon. Collectively, we will all need to practice patience and work cooperatively to safeguard and protect our valuable time utilizing the swimming facilities. Up until Monday, July 13th, this will be a time for all of us…lifeguards, support staff, management, and property owners alike to discover and accustom ourselves to the challenges. It is exciting to know that the time has finally come to be assured and to know exactly what is expected so that we can offer for all to enjoy what is so important and critical to our Woodhaven Lakes way of life. We get to swim again!!
