IN CASE OF A LEAK Chaparral regularly communicates, plans and trains with local emergency responders to ensure all necessary parties are prepared to respond in the unlikely event a leak should occur. Once notified of an incident or leak, Chaparral will immediately dispatch trained personnel to the leak site and, if necessary, assist emergency crews. Pipeline operators and emergency responders are trained to protect life, property and facilities in the case of an emergency and will take the steps necessary to isolate the pipeline and minimize the size and volumes of a leak.
