QUALITATIVE FEEDBACK

Faculty survey based on “technology acceptance model” administered at close of pilot term, focused on two areas:

1) ease of use – rated higher2) Usefulness – rated lower

Findings:• Faculty unsure of value in the

information presented by the app, and of what to do with that information

• Faculty do not feel their actions through the app are valuable

“I think students who are scoring well but not engaging highly do

not really need to be in "outreach needed" category”

“Only flag students with low engagement and low scores,

other than that it is too confusing for students and

tedious extra work for faculty”

IMPLICATIONS FOR THE FUTURE

• Incorporated insights from initial pilot into training and design for January 2016 term pilot.

• Stronger focus on faculty engagement and coaching• Leadership defined the problem statement and value

proposition• Civitas provided coaching on recommended outreach feature• Nudge campaign for faculty

• Expanded pilot in January 2016 term to include NR443 and NR351, to include courses students tend to struggle in, and include larger number of students

• Will measure and evaluate results to incorporate in anticipation of expanding IFF to all RN to BSN and DNP courses in May 2016 term
