We found that the CF qualification
provided a much more relevant
and comprehensive educationpackage for our CF professionals
than the alternatives. Many of the
alternatives focused on specific
technical aspects of what a CF
professional needs to be equipped
with, however they did not pull
the whole package together in a
structured manner.”

Coming into the Program with both a
CFA and an MBA, I had lots of theory. This
Program gave me the opportunity to apply
that theory to real life examples in the
form of case studies.
I liked the fact that the facilitators in the
Program were real CF practitioners who
work in corporate finance every day. They
brought their own experiences into thediscussions, adding value to the sessions.
They really brought the theory to l ife.
The other participants also added to the
Program. They were from many diverse
backgrounds – from all across Canada and
from different working roles – some were
CFOs, some were advisors – and everyoneshared their information and experiences
to make the Program relevant to all.”
