• CFA Level I & II are MCQ’s pattern Exams.

• In the last few years, the exams have been stressing more on conceptual clarity rather than ability to remember and reproduce formula’s.

• In our Opinion, the Level of difficulty of CFA level I has been reducing and CFA level II has been increasing over the years.


• Certain area’s of the curriculum are being given more importance than others.

• Syllabus is vast, and it’s difficult to revise all the ten subjects a day before the exams.

• Different subjects are interlinked with each other, hence multiple readings of the syllabus substantially help understanding the big picture.

Our training is based on following three

rules:

Rule No 1: Concepts not formula

Rule No 2: Question Solving ( learning from

your own mistakes)

Rule No 3: Revise and Integrate


Rule No 1: Concepts not formula We follow “NO FORMULA” teaching methodology, i.e. the

training is conducted in such a way that you don’t need to remember almost 70-80% of the formulae given in the books.

Instead, much emphasis is placed on the concepts and logic behind the formula.

Extensive background training sessions are conducted for candidates from Non-Finance backgrounds, popularly called as “Level 0” training at FinTree.

Rule No 2: Question Solving

(learning from your own mistakes)

Weekly test series will start from week 1. The results are displayed on notice boards.

Classrooms are divided into multiple groups. These groups compete among each other.

Candidates scoring below a thereshold level, attend extra personal sessions with the faculty and retake the tests.

Total number of question solved and analysed in test

series- 4500+


Rule No 3: Revise and Integrate The syllabus is over a month before the exams.

In the last month before the exam, entire syllabus is revised in the class again- but now from the exam pespective.

There will be 8 comprehensive test (six hours) in the last month with a gap of a day, so that you’’ll automatically learn to revise entire syllabus in one day.
