There is no bad language in the content, however ‘damn’ and mild explicit language is allowed. There are no sexual activity involved in ‘U’ rated things but kissing can be included. Most ‘U’ rated films are normally Disney or animated. No violence is involved but they are allowed to show a ‘bad’ person putting others in danger. Films such as Aladdin or Oliver and company are rated as U.

‘PG’ stands for Parental Guidance. It means that the content can be viewed by anyone however can show content that could unsettle anyone younger than 8. It will not contain any inappropriate features but is allowed to show racism or bullying. The only excuse for using words such as ‘shit’ is that it has to be important to what's happening. Innuendos are allowed in PG films though sexual references are unlikely to be shown. Violence can be shown but must be mild (can contain blood). Drugs can be involved but can not be strongly focused on. Harry potter is a PG rated film as it contains certain language and images which wouldn’t be suitable for anyone younger.

Sex and nudity can fleetingly be shown but must be discrete. Dangerous behaviour can be shown but should be endorsed. The fault in our stars is rated a 12 as there is some bad language used in the film such as “shit”.

Some things can be strong such a blood and horror. Like before drug taking in the film should not be shown as encouraging or a positive thing to do. Films such as scary movie is rated a 18 due to its explicit scenes and contains drug taking throughout the film.

My film rating As my film is a horror I

would feel the rating of 15 would be appropriate as anyone under the age of 12 cant include some things which will be included within the film such as violence, strong language and maybe drug taking. However I would not rate my film a 18 as no strong horror or blood will be included within the film.
