The Process to Achieve COR
• Step 1
• Complete and submit the COR Application Form to IHSA
• Step 2
• Complete mandatory training modules. A representative from senior management must complete one program, a full time employee (Internal Auditor) is required to complete 4 programs
• Step 3
• Complete and submit (with supporting documentation) a workplace self audit
• Step 4
• Arrange and successfully complete the 3rd Party COR audit

COR Cycle
• Once a company achieves COR, it is valid for three years:
– Year One: IHSA auditor validates that the company/workplace meets the COR standard
– Year Two/Three: Company completes and submits a COR self-audit to validate that they continue to meet the standard
– Year Four: IHSA auditor validates that the company/workplace meets the COR standard
